You can get a demo version of the game. Just type in'world in conflict demo' into any aerch engine.
The demo allows you to play multiplayer online as well as playing part of the campaign. Only restriction is that there is only one map for mutliplayer
I play Company of Heros alot. They are very different from each other. Company of Heros invloves alot more planning and you have to capture control points to get resources to build units and weapons. With World in Conflict you just get stuck in. If you capture an objective or kill enemy you earn points that go towards off map support (e.g artillery, air drops). If you earn enough it is even possible to call in a nuclear weapon.
I have ordered a copy of the World in Conflict. I am impressed by the graphics. The artillery exploions are something else. It is just looks good fun.

Historically the British used a two deep line while everyone else used a 3 deep one. So what they are suggesting to use looks good to me.
